At the Sustainable Home Centre we offer a complete range of heatpump & renewable energy services for the trade, as well as homeowneers. We are a specialised Daikin Training Centre offering an unrivalled level of support.
Design
We carry out heatloss calculations, radiator sizing and general system design from simple small properties to complicated large projects.
Being linked with an established Heatpump designer and installer allows us to provide real-world advice on the best options to keep your customers happy and minimise callbacks. We also routinely offer advice on the integration of different renewable technologies on projects small to large.
The Sustainable Home centre Showroom is open to all. As an end user, you can arrange to come along and have a chat about the many renewable options and many sel’f builder and renovators use our showroom and our staff to get very useful advice on options they can work with.
If you are an installer or specifier, you can bring your clients along and we will facilitate a meeting at the showroom that’s bespoke to your clients requirements. We can provide staff input or leave you to use the showroom for your own client meeting.
V-Mech has been purchasing Daikin Heat pump equipment from the H2ecO Sustainable
Homes Centre for over a year and we are very happy with the service they offer. They don’t
just sell boxes, they assist with heat loss calculations and technical equipment design and
commissioning issues to ensure my customers get the best experience from their new
renewable heating system. When we need it, they also offer the ability for our customers to
claim the Boiler upgrade scheme through their MCS umbrella option.
Adam Collins, Project Director V-Mech
I have worked with the H2ecO and used their design and specification services for several years. Their knowledge and commitment to making the entire process as simple as possible is really helpful in keeping my customers happy and in my installing systems that have minimal callbacks.

Training
We have an accredited training facility that offers training to installers and self-builders. The training ranges from Manufacturer accredited product specific training through to level 3 externally validated heatpump training that is MCS mapped. The facility is also used by some selected external providers of advanced training in specific areas of renewable heating design.
For installers who do not want to go down the route of becoming MCS accredited – with the associated administration overhead, we offer the ability to install under the H2ecO MCS umbrella scheme. Under this scheme, H2ecO will carry out the required calculation, produce a compliant quote and produce the MCS paperwork. H2ecO then commission and check the installation for MCS compliance with a physical site visit. The installer chooses their costs and charges and the SHC supplies the required equipment.
We supply Daikin equipment at competitive rates and hold stock of most of the more common units, including DHW cylinders. We can supply as part of one of the service packages under the umbrella scheme or just a direct sale. Browse the wide range of Daikin heatpumps and parts in our Equipment section…
When we work with installers under the MCS umbrella scheme, we recognise that the customer is yours. If you want to retain an ongoing relationship with the customer after installation we will never provide servicing to them directly. We do know though that many installers prefer to just install and not offer servicing. If this is the case, you may find that many customers prefer to have servicing support available. If that is the case, H2ecO can offer to take on the annual servicing of the installation (within a hour of Poole) so you can keep your customer happy but be able to move on to the next installation.
