Dan Brooker
Head of Heatpump and MVHR installation and designMCS Training DesignDan is a time-served mechanical and electrical engineer with particular interest in Renewable heating systems. Dan heads up H2ecO’s Renewable heating operations ranging across support for MCS services Partners and the design, specification and installation of direct clients projects. If you have a Heatpump design done by H2ecO or have a Heatpump or MVHR system installed by H2ecO, Dan will have created the design and have overseen the installation.

Barry Porter
Head of Logistics and schedulingMCS EquipmentBarry comes from fast-moving retail and business to business sales support with extensive experience in Logistics and customer care. Barry heads up the logistics side of H2ecO’s operations spending an inordinate amount of time sourcing equipment and ensuring parts arrive where and when they need to. He also works with the installation and maintenance teams to support the scheduling of their work. Most customers will speak to Barry at some point through their journey with H2ecO.

Ash Michel
Head of Photovoltaic design and installationAsh is the companies NICEIC technical supervisor and heads up Solar PV and associated Technologies Ash started out as a time-served roofing apprentice and moved into renewables after Joining H2ecO in 2012. With years of practical and technical experience, Ash is now one of the most qualified and experienced PV and linked technologies installers we know.

Julie Stephenson
Finance DirectorEquipmentWith a background in Finance and having worked in the accounts department for the FCO at the British Embassy in Paris, Julie runs the H2ecO finances and administration operations along with her team. Spending time with her family and her 3 legged cat are her top priority and sailing and golf with anytime that is left.

Mike Stephenson
Director and founderTrainingMike has a background in marine biology and visitor attraction operation, design and development with 21 years experience working for the worlds second largest developer and operator of visitor attractions at senior management level. Worked across Europe including 8 years based outside the UK. Set up H2ecO in 2010 for the purpose of contributing to carbon emission reduction. Set up the Sustainable Homes Centre in 2022 in partnership with Daikin. When not working at H2ecO Mike has adapted his house to incorporate all of the technologies H2ecO works with and has close to zero annual bills. He is a keen sailor (when time permits).

Neil Stevens
Head of quoting and system designEquipmentNeil has a background in specification and support with a particular interest in the more technical aspects of business operations and products. He is also a board member of a local community support charity. H2ecO does not have a sales function for the installation side of its business so Neil is the first point of contact for most enquiries and progresses those enquiries with support from the rest of the team specialists to quote stage.

John George
Lead service engineerTrainingAfter a start in the RAF, John spent many years as a senior paramedic before moving into electrical works. After joining H2ecO, John has developed as an experienced Renewable heating and renewable generation/storage engineer. John heads up H2ecO’s servicing and maintenance team where he looks after H2ecO’s direct installed customers and also faces an endless series of challenges sorting out installations for customers who have systems installed by others that have issues.

Matt Southam
Lead service engineerAfter leaving collage in Southampton, Matt headed to London to work for a world-leading company in pre-press, giving technical support for IT, high-definition film plotters and inkjet proofing. After leaving the big smoke, Matt headed to the Dorset countryside and set up his own company, which he ran for 22 years as an electrician, diversifying into renewables and picking up experience in domestic heating systems, including gas and solar thermal. Matt now works alongside John in the service and maintenance team for H2-Eco, growing his knowledge in refrigeration and fault-finding long-term issues with existing systems. In Matt’s spare time, if he is not out walking with his dog, Lucy, in the Purbecks, he races classic sailing dinghies around Poole Harbour and the Solent.
